Allen Mortuary was in charge of arrangements for Madaline Lorraine Mendes, 75, of Ceres. She died Thursday, April 7, 2005 at her home.
Burial was at Turlock Memorial Park.
Born July 22, 1929, Mrs. Mendes was a native of Turlock and had lived in Ceres since 2001. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting and playing the organ.
Mrs. Mendes leaves behind two sons, Ernie Mendes of Ceres and Manuel Mendes of San Jose; her sister, Rose Coehlo of Turlock; and nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Mendes; and one brother and one sister.
