A memorial service was held Sunday at Grace Community Christian Church in Ceres for Marie Faletti, 79, of Ceres/Modesto. She died Aug. 6, 2010.
Born Sept. 21, 1930 Marie raised her family inthe Oakley/Brentwood area and later moved to the Modesto area to be closer to her sisters and brothers. Marie's greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She leaves behind four children David Merle Knight, Steve Knight, Denise Bishop, and Emmett Faletti; four sisters, Ann Darnell, Lea Washam, Barbara Fanter and Nawatha Reed; two brothers, Charles Hutson and Donald Hutson; and 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband William Faletti, brother David Hutson, and son Chris Knight.
