Evins Funeral Home was in charge of a private memorial service for Mary Margaret Murray Maurer, 77, of Atwater. She died Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at Evergreen Rehabilitation Center in Modesto.
Born Sept. 30, 1926, Mrs. Maurer was native of San Francisco and lived in Atwater for 11 years. She was a registered nurse for 25 years and had worked at the former Memorial South Hospital in Ceres.
She leaves behind her husband, William Maurer of Atwater; two children, Judith Paniagua and Josephine Bryant, both of Atwater; her brother, William Murray of San Francisco; and her sister, Rose Crespo of San Francisco. She was preceded in death by one brother.
