A memorial service was held on Saturday at Colony Park Mobile Home Estates hall for Melvin "Rhino" William Heatley, 27, of Ceres. He died July 13, 2012.
Born May 6, 1985 in Lanstuhl, Germany to Randy and Judy Heatley, Melvin lived in Las Cruces, N.M. prior to moving to Ceres seven years. He was a tattoo artist, musician and writer. He enjoyed drawing pictures of his own design. He especially enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Ember.
He is survived by his daughter, Ember Heatley; his mother, Judy Heatley of Ceres; and his grandfather Melvin Heatley of Missouri. He was preceded in death by father Randy Heatley, brother Zachary Heatley and grandparents Willian and Elsie Coker and Barbara Heatley.
