A Mass was held Friday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church for Miguel Angel Jimenez-Matus, 32, of Ceres. He died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park under the direction of the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs.
Born Nov. 5, 1973, Mr. Jimenez-Matus was a native of Mexico and lived in Ceres for eight years. He was a musician for 15 years. Mr. Jimenez-Matus attended St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres.
He leaves behind his wife, Yolanda Ruiz of Ceres; three children, Nayelie Jimenez, Miguel Angel Jimenez Jr., and Lupita Jimenez, all of Ceres; his mother, Magdalena Matus Marin of Mexico; two brothers; and one sister.
