Services were held Friday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel for Mikel John Heffernan, 57, of Ceres. He died at home on Sept. 9, 2007.
Born Jan. 10, 1950 Mr. Heffernan was a native of Michigan, and moved to California in 1957. He attended school in San Lorenzo. Mr. Heffernan retired from Reynolds Metals after working there 28 years.
He leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Frances Heffernan of Ceres; two sons, John Heffernan of San Jose and James Heffernan of Ceres; his parents, Harold and Orlou Heffernan; and six grandchildren, Anthony, Christian, Marissa, Maya, Brooklyn, and Makayla.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Frances Heffernan.
