Evins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and private services for Shawn Rise Crabtree, 40, of Ceres. She died Friday, April 8, 2005 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.
Born Sept. 22, 1964, Mrs. Crabtree was a native of Merced and lived in Ceres for five years and previously lived in Modesrto 33 years. She was a registered nurse for three years and worked at Emanuel Medical Center's emergency department in Turlock for 12 years. Mrs. Crabtree also worked at California Forensic Medical Group and at Gallo Winery. She enjoyed traveling, scrapbooking, reading, gardening and interior design.
Mrs. Crabtree leaves behind her husband, Joe Crabtree of Ceres; two children, Ashleigh Hall of Modesto and Gregory Metcalf of Los Angeles; her stepdaughter, Bryanna Crabtree of Ceres; her parents, Paul and Catherine Brown of Modesto; and her brother, Jerry Gibson of Merced. She was preceded in death by one brother; and one sister.
