A funeral was held Friday at Lakewood Funeral Home forWayne Frank, 66, of Ceres. He died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005 at his home.

Burial was at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Born June 15, 1939, Mr. Frank was a native of Hastings, Okla., and lived in Ceres for 25 years, and previously in Turlock for three years. He was a 27-year employee of Tri Valley Growers where he was a forklift driver. Mr. Frank was a member of GPA Prospectors and the Sportsmen's Club. He enjoyed the outdoors and related activities, such as fishing, hunting and camping. Mr. Frank liked to garden, and he enjoyed walking his dog.

He leaves behind his wife, Paulette Frank of Ceres; five children, James Frank of Riverbank, Wayne Frank Jr. of Oakdale, Rhonda Mauro and Shelley Hudson, both of Prunedale and Kimberly Bejaran of Ceres; two brothers, Melton Frank of Oakdale and Donny Frank of Springfield, Mo.; his sister, Sharon Allen of Modesto; and 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister.
