William "Bill" Journey

April 24, 1922 - March 16, 2014

Bill Journey resided in Ceres for many years and spent the last three years in New Iberia, La., with his sister, Betty Journey Dugas and her husband Curtis.

He worked numerous years as a journeyman welder for Westmark and Del Monte.

Bill was married to the late Inez Journey.

Bill's infectious laugh and quirky sense of humor will be forever missed by those who knew him. He greeted all the girls with a "Hello darling" and always looked on the bright side, reassuring his many friends and family that "everything will be okay if we make it through December."

He is survived by three sisters, Betty, Sharlene Mason and Alfa Broussard; two children; seven step-children; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Journey.

He will be sadly missed by all.
