Ceres High School’s varsity girls swim team notched its second straight dual-meet victory this past week.

The Bulldogs improved to 2-1 in the Western Athletic Conference standings following Friday’s 114-57 pasting of visiting Pacheco.

Ceres High led from start to finish.

Julia Pata took first in the 100 free (58.05) and 100 back (1:09.75).

Lindsey Reedy took first in the 200 free (2:36.50) and fourth in the 100 breast (1:37.14).

Ciana Sather took first in the 50 free (28.14) and 100 fly (1:08.56).

Annie Connors took second in the 200 free (2:37.21) and 50 free (31.09).

Jade Dominguez took second in the 500 free (8:04.61).

Kiera Brownlee took second in the 100 breast (1:27.31).

Jacklyn Lamb took second in the 100 fly (1:28.76) and third in the 200 IM (3:17.41).

Katrina Castillo took third in the 100 free (1:09.88) and 100 breast (1:27.51).

Sarah Connors took third in the 500 free (8:22.50).

Kaitlyn Foster took third in the 100 fly (1:33.03) and sixth in the 100 free (1:22.50).

Haley Turpin took third in the 100 back (1:29.03) and fourth in the 50 free (33.88).

Chelsea Johnson took fourth in the 200 free (3:05.66).

Alissa Coker took fourth in the 500 free (8:47.84).

Monae Decamera took fourth in the 100 back (1:36.81).

The Bulldogs’ 200 medley relay team of Pata, Castillo, Sather and Brownlee took first (2:13.42).

The Bulldogs’ 200 medley relay team of Turpin, Lamb, Foster and Decamera took third (2:39.39).

The Bulldogs’ 200 free relay team of Brownlee, Reedy, Sather and Annie Connors took first (2:09.83).

The Bulldogs’ 200 free relay team of Foster, Castillo, Sophia Laffoon and Taylore Bentley took second (2:12.26).

The Bulldogs’ 400 free relay team of Lamb, Reedy, Pata and Annie Connors took first (4:41.00).

The Bulldogs’ 400 free relay team of Dominguez, Turpin, Sarah Connors and Baylee Carlin took third (5:32.81).

Boys results

Ceres High School’s varsity boys swim team stormed back for an 89-80 win over visiting Pacheco last Friday.

Ceres High improved to 2-1 in the WAC dual-meet standings.

The Bulldogs trailed 78-75 going into the final event of the day.

Ceres High’s ‘A’ and ‘B’ 400 free relay teams earned a total of 12 points while placing first (4:07.25) and second (4:40.36), respectively. The Panthers were awarded just two points as their two 400 free relay teams finished third (4:58.70) and fourth (5:40.81).

Ceres High’s ‘A’ 200 free relay team placed first (1:49.19).

Ceres High’s ‘B’ 200 free relay team placed third (2:21.13).

Ceres High’s ‘A’ 200 medley relay team placed second (2:20.88).

Bobby Baranski took first in the 50 free (25.63) and 100 free (59.63).

Stefan Perry took first in the 500 free (6:24.47) and 100 breast (1:15.58).

Erik Weststeyn took first in the 100 fly (1:04.56) and second in the 100 back (1:10.30).

Connor Mills took second in the 200 free (2:22.28) and 500 free (6:52.73).

Timothy Campbell took second in the 50 free (27.38) and third in the 100 fly (1:15.34).
