Lou Toste had a blast coaching the Ceres Earthquakes under-12 boys soccer team during the Bill Meyer League Mini-Season.

Ceres collected six wins, three losses and three ties.

"We had fun," Toste said.
The Earthquakes posted a 5-1-2 record during the regular season.

Ceres had a 1-2-1 mark at the BML end-of-year tournament, staged March 7-8, in Stockton.

Pedro Anay, Damian Buendia, Ivan Diaz, Elijah Dinis, Adeian Farias, Bardo Limon, Daniel Morado, Sebastian Olide, Noel Oropeza, Ruben Padilla, Dylan Richardson, Isaac Rodriguez, Cesar Tavison, Alex Tavizon and Jayden Unruh suited up for the Earthquakes.

Toste, Les Brenner and Joey Richardson made up Ceres' coaching staff.

"These kids play recreational soccer," Toste said. "They don't play year-round. They got an opportunity to go out there and travel. It was something special for the kids."
