Central Valley High School’s varsity swim program remained winless on the year after getting swept by host Patterson last week.

Central Valley’s boys team dropped to 0-3 in the Western Athletic Conference dual-meet standings following Friday’s 118-33 setback.

Hawk Kevin Martinez placed second in the 500 free (6:55.47).

Jose Robles placed second in the 50 free (28.97).

Edgar Cervantes placed second in the 100 back (1:21.99) and fourth in the 50 free (31.20).

Cesar Armas placed third in the 200 free (3:03.81) and fourth in the 100 breast (1:45.00).

Jaime Diaz placed third in the 50 free (30.85) and fourth in the 100 free (1:21.84).

David Jimenez placed fifth in the 100 breast (1:50.60).

Central Valley had no individual competitors in both the 200 IM and 100 fly. The Tigers outscored the Hawks, 26-0.

Central Valley’s ‘A’ 200 free relay team placed second (2:05.00).

Central Valley’s ‘A’ 400 free relay team placed third (6:17.84).

Central Valley’s varsity girls swim squad suffered a 140-19 loss.

Lisa Serna finished third in the 100 back (1:43.94) and fourth in the 50 free (35.20).

Vanesa Hernandez finished fourth in the 50 free (34.20) and 100 free (1:29.08).

Nancy Laiton finished fourth in the 200 free (3:16.89).

Carlie Casal finished fourth in the 100 breast (1:55.16).

Simaran Dosanjh finished fifth in the 100 free (1:23.23).

Brenda Romo finished sixth in the 100 free (1:29.93).

Sara Phetsinorath finished sixth in the 50 free (35.41).

Central Valley’s ‘A’ 200 free relay team finished third (2:33.06).

The Hawks fell to 0-3 in the WAC.
