A memorial service was held Sunday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel for Ronald Marvin Scothorn, 52, of Modesto. The former Ceres resident died Saturday, June 11, 2005 at his home.
Born May 26, 1953, Mr. Scothorn was a native of Crescent City and lived in Modesto since 1970 and lived in Ceres from 1967 to 1970. He was a registered nurse for 25 years and owned the Care Temps Inc. Mr. Scothorn was a member of Central Modesto Seventh-day Adventist Church. He enjoyed boating, hunting and fishing.
He leaves behind his brother, Richard Scothorn of Newport, Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dorothy Scothorn; and one brother.
