A funeral was held Saturday at the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs for William Earl Hopkins, 78, of Ceres. He died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center in Modesto.
Burial was at Ceres Memorial Park.
Born Aug. 25, 1927, Mr. Hopkins was a native of Oakland and lived in Ceres for 15 years. He was a truck driver for Willig Freight Lines for 33 years. Mr. Hopkins was a member of the Teamsters union Local 315.
He leaves behind his wife, Elaine J. Hopkins of Ceres; two children, Catherine Pagni and Russell Earl Hopkins, both of Ceres; and three grandchildren.
