Editor, Ceres Courier,
I am beginning to wonder about the water being piped into my neighborhood. Not really the water but the plumbing that supplies water to our homes.
Last year water started leaking up through the middle of Waynesboro Drive and running over to the curb by the park and proceeded to go down the rain drain. I notified the city.
Then a couple of days later I was taking a walk down Suffolk and workmen were tearing up the road to repair a similar leak about a block away from the leak by my house.
Last week there was another leak through the middle of Waynesboro Drive opposite the playground, about four houses away from where the leak by my house occurred. Workers have taken care of all these leaks. We moved into our home – a new house –in 1988. The immediate neighborhood was all new at that time. I am wondering if the plumbing for Blueridge Estates was performed by a qualified company? I have never had this experience before in neighborhoods that were much older.
Maybe I am wrong and this is a common occurrence?
