Harmen Bahia helped lead Ceres Highs freshman girls basketball team to a third-place finish in league play.

Ceres High School's freshman girls basketball team finished in third place in the Western Athletic Conference standings.

The Bulldogs won eight of their 12 league games under first-year head coach Aimee Gunzenhauser's guidance.

Ceres High wrapped up its 2014-15 campaign with a 32-20 win over Pacheco on Feb. 16 in Los Banos.

A force inside, Harmen Bahia totaled a game-high 19 points.

Shelby Veuve added four points.

Carlis Gomes scored three points.

Andrea Duran, Angelina Ursua and Savannah Zielke all had two points.

The Bulldogs had an overall record of 13-8 this year.

Ceres High dropped a pair of games to WAC-champion/crosstown-rival Central Valley (19-1, 12-0).
