Central Valley's freshman boys basketball team topped crosstown-rival Ceres High twice during the 2018 Western Athletic Conference season.
The Hawks closed out WAC play with a 62-38 win over the Bulldogs on Feb. 9 at Central Valley.
Central Valley won the first meeting, 56-29, on Jan. 24 at Phil de la Porte Gymnasium.
The Hawks (7-3) and Bulldogs (3-7) took second and third, respectively, in the conference standings this winter.
Central Valley's Samar Singh was unstoppable during the rematch as he torched Ceres High for 20 points.
Angel Zamarripa added 17 points.
Nathan Diaz, Donavon Gaut, Jason Figueroa and Xavier Valencia contributed nine, seven, five and four points, respectively.
Samuel Garcia and Andrew Kommavong paced Ceres High with 11 points apiece.
Adrian Barajas and Inderraj Dhillon tallied nine and five points, respectively.
The Hawks dominated from start to finish in beating the Bulldogs.
Central Valley led 33-14 at intermission.
