Ceres High School student Kaylee Rodriguez was recognized last week by the Soroptimist International of Ceres as its “Girl of the Month.”

Kaylee was selected as a phenomenal young lady who has a continuous positive attitude toward peers and staff.

Kaylee has been active in several campus clubs, including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club where, as president, she helps plan and lead meetings and more. She does all of this with a great attitude and a smile.

Ms. Rodriguez is also a member of the Ceres High School girls’ soccer team and track, as she maintains a 4.3 grade point average (GPA).

Kaylee is always ready to help others and is a prime example of a professional young woman, the club noted in bestowing the award.

After graduation, Kaylee plans to attend Modesto Junior College for two years and transfer to Fresno State to earn a degree in Kinesiology and study sports medicine to become an athletic trainer.
