Cities of Ceres, Hughson plan Saturday 'Trunk or Treat' events
2022 Ceres Trunk or Treat

The cities of Ceres and Hughson are planning fun Halloween events on Saturday to give children a safer alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.

The city of Ceres Recreation Department will host its Truck-or-Treat event on Third and North streets and Whitmore Park on Saturday afternoon between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Food, live music and games will be offered at the event. Families are encouraged to come out in costume.

“It’s bigger and better this year,” said Joey Chavez, Recreation Manager for the city of Ceres. “I think we have close to 40 booths, five food vendors, a lot of photo opportunities. I think we’re up like maybe 12 vendors from last year. We’re real excited about that event.”
