The community of Keyes is bringing back the Keyes Fall Festival Parade which was last held in 1984.

The event is to begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 25 at Keyes Elementary School and head north on Seventh Street to the church/tower market. Seventh Street will be blocked off at approximately 8 a.m. to give community members a chance to set up chairs and get the best views.
Jeff Reed of the Keyes Municipal Advisory Council said a small parade committee stepped up to organize the parade once again.

"The parade will be short this year but we hope to expand and even bring back a harvest carnival at our school or local park," said Reed.

Parade entries include Keyes Fire, Sheriff's Department, the California Highway Patrol, schools, churches, families, clubs and organizations.
