A male driver was killed Sunday afternoon in a shooting as he was near the intersection of Amador Avenue and Spokane Street.

The victim was sitting in the driver’s seat of a silver-colored Nissan Altima. At least 10 shell casings were found near the car which was in the middle of the street with the door open.

Modesto Police are investigating the crime.
