Investigators with the Stanislaus County Sheriff's Department are seeking clues as to the death of a man found in an abandoned home in south Modesto on Saturday.
At approximately 9:16 a.m. deputies responded to a 911 call about a deceased person in the 1200 block of Sam Avenue near Ceres. It is unknown how long he had been dead.
Investigators will need to wait on the autopsy to determine the cause of death.
