A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs for Andrew James Brogdon, 53, of Ceres. He died July 2, 2009 at his home after a battle with cancer.

Born June 16, 1956 at Mather Air Force Base in Sacramento, Andrew was a skilled sheet metal worker.

He leaves behind his sons, Joseph James Brogdon and Jason Scott Brogdon; his sister, Laura Fishan; his brothers, Guy Brogdon, Steven Brogdon, Terry Brogdon and Roger Brogdon; and his mother, Rose Brogdon of Ceres. He was preceded in death by father Prince D. Brogdon.
