Heuton Memorial Chapel in Sonora was in charge of arrangements for Arthur Barnes, 93, of Pacific Grove. He died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2005 at his home.
Burial was at Mountain Shadow Cemetery in Sonora.
Born April 23, 1912, Mr. Barnes was a native of Hughson and lived in Pacific Grove for 15 years. He previously lived in Jamestown. Mr. Barnes graduated from Hughson High School. He was a salesman for Dresser Industries for 40 years. After retiring, Mr. Barnes operated an antique shop in Jamestown with his wife.
He leaves behind his brother, Clarence Barnes of Sonora.
