A graveside service was held Nov. 11, 2009 at Lakewood Memorial Park for Christopher Ryan Manning, 26, of Hughson. He died Nov. 5, 2009.
Born March 17, 1983, Chris grew up in Hughson and graduated from Hughson High School in 2001. He took film and computer science classes at Modesto Junior College. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, a gamer, computer whiz, as well as an all time sports fan. Mr. Manning worked at River Oaks Golf Course in Ceres and was beginning a new job at Dairy Farmers Of America in Turlock.
He leaves behind his parents, Richard and Karen Manning of Hughson,; his sister, Amber Manning of Patterson; his grandmother, Anna Brown of Crockett; two aunts, Pam Campos of Sacramento, and Susan Cook of Hughson; and his uncle, Tom Manning of Tulsa, Okla. He was preceded in death by grandparents William Brown, John Stevens and June Stevens.
