A memorial service was held Saturday at the Ceres Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for Cynthia Jeanette Craig, 53, of Ceres. She died May 24, 2009 with family by her side.
Born Sept. 7, 1955 in Modesto to John and Sarah Workman, Cynthia married the love of her life, Evan D. Craig, on March 20, 1976. She loved to spend time with her family, cooking, camping, and traveling with her husband.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 33 years, Evan Craig of Ceres; her children, Evan T. Craig and Joshua Craig, both of Modesto, and Joy-Anne Bailey of Ceres; two sisters, Mary Anders of Waterford and Kathy Johnston of Cullman, Ala.; two brothers, Rick Horn of Modesto and Glen Avey; and five grandchildren, Evan Craig, Logan Craig, Cody Craig, Konnor Bailey and Kaitlyn Bailey. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and sister Norma Avey.
