A funeral will be held at 5 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Valley View Church of the Nazarene in Ceres for Elaine Anderson Brown, 65, of Hughson. She died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005 at her home.
The Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs is in charge of arrangements.
Born July 19, 1939, Mrs. Brown was a native of Montpelier, Idaho, and lived in Hughson for 24 years. She was a registered nurse for 24 years and worked at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. Mrs. Brown was a member of Valley View Church of the Nazarene in Ceres.
She leaves behind her husband, Lynn Brown of Hughson; four children, Mark Brown of Roundup, Mont., Cindy Woods of Riverbank, Crystal Trovao of Turlock and Erica Schertler of Sullivan, Mo.; her mother, Violet Anderson of Jerome, Idaho; her brother, Fred Anderson of Nevada City; and 16 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Evan H. Anderson.
