A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ceres Christian Church for Floyd Eugene Coleman, 79, of Ceres. He died July 26, 2012 at Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

Private burial will be held at Turlock Memorial Park under the direction of Allen Mortuary.

Born July 8, 1933 in Joplin, Mo., to John and Thelma Coleman, Floyd served in the Navy for four years during the Korean War. Mr. Coleman attended Ceres Christian Church. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycling, RV camping.

He leaves behind his wife, Zella Coleman; his children, Neil Coleman of Ceres, and Renee Wyrick of Modesto; two brothers, Bill Coleman and Ronnie Coleman; three sisters, Virginia, Alberta and Roberta; four grandchildren, Jessica, Jeremiah, Sierra and Nicole; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John Roy Coleman, Jr.

Remembrances may be made to Ceres Christian Church at 3502 Roeding Road, Ceres CA 95307.
