A graveside service was held Thursday at Ceres Memorial Park for Irene Elizabeth Adler, 95, of Modesto. She died Aug. 2, 2008.
The Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs was in charge of arrangements.
Born Jan. 31, 1913, Mrs. Adler was a native of Fortuna, and a resident of Modesto. She worked as an admittance clerk at the former Scenic General Hospital in Modesto. She was a member of Redwood Genealogical Society, Stanislaus County Genealogical Society, Humboldt County Historical Society, El Dorado County Historical Society and the Fayette County, Illinois Genealogical Society.
She leaves behind her son, Thomas Ray Cooper of Ceres; her sister, Helen Wooten of Cottonwood; her grandchildren, Shelly Horstman and Kayla Cooper, both of Ceres; and two great-grandchildren, Trevor Horstman and Landon Horstman.
