Services were held Oct. 15 at Evins Funeral Home for Jerry Douglas Allen, 66, of Modesto. He died Oct. 9, 2008.
Born Dec. 13, 1941, Mr. Allen had retired from a supervisory position at Kraft Foods in Ceres. Known as a loving and caring man, his passion was doiung leather work and having backyard barbecues with family and friends.
He leaves behind his children, Raymond Allen, Cherie Jones, Alicia Dale and Cheryl Seibel; two brothers, Clyde Allen and Jimmy Ray Allen; his grandchildren, Stacy Kaiser, Krista Richards, Michelle Richards, Raymond Jones, Michael Jones, Keara Allen, Aaleah Allen, Heather Anderson, Kayla Seibel, Sarah Dale, Jenny Dale and Cody Dale; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by wife Nora Allen, daughter Jeanette Richards, and granddaughter Rayne Allen.
