Odell Woodward

The Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs was in charge of Friday's graveside service at Lakewood Memorial Park for Odell Woodward, 89, of Turlock. She died Dec. 29, 2007.

Born Jan. 11, 1918 Mrs. Woodward was a native of Oklahoma and a resident of Turlock. She was a member of Keyes Assembly of God Church. She was an avid gardener and quiltmaker. She also was a good cook and was known for baking pies.

She leaves behind her children, Edward Woodward of Arkansas, Troy Woodward of Oklahoma and Mildred Rogers of Turlock; her brother, Bill Taylor of Arkansas; and sister, Irene Lee of Seattle, Wash.; her grandchildren, Linda Bolton of Denair, Terri Locke of Ripon, Sherri Falke of Oregon, Rhonda Parker of Modesto, Gary Morris of Santa Barbara, and Troy Woodward, Jr., and Eddie Woodward, both of Oklahoma; and 17 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
