Funeral services were held Saturday at the Hughson Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for Rebecca Marrianne Blazzard, 24, of La Grange. She died Jan. 7, 2008 in a car accident walking home from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.

Burial was at La Grange Cemetery under the direction of Eaton Family Funeral Home.

Born April 6, 1983, Miss Blazzard was a native of Phoenix, Ariz. She was a graduate of Hughson High School and worked as a teacher's aide/reading clinician at Yamato Colony School in Livingston. She had a strong love for the Boy Scout program and was assistant Scout master of La Grange Scout Troop 17, and Cub Scout Pack Leader of La Grange and was the founder/leader of a Livingston Pack.

She leaves behind her parents, Ben and Marrianne Blazzard; her sister, Katherine Blazzard, Elizabeth Blazzard, Rachael Blazzard; her two brothers, Benjamin Blazzard and Andrew Blazzard; her grandparents, Trevelyn G. Blazzard and JoAnn Butler. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Sylvia Blazzard and Byron Butler.
