A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Samaritan Village Chapel in Hughson for Russell Scott Kendrick, 24, of Modesto. He died Sunday, April 3, 2005 at his home.

Born Oct. 2, 1980, Mr. Kendrick was a native of Waco, Texas, and lived in Modesto for 21 years. He was a handyman who enjoyed camping, fishing, hiking and macrame artwork.
Mr. Kendrick leaves behind two daughters, Nina Kendrick and Christina Kendrick, both of Ceres; his parents, Michael Kendrick of Modesto and Joyce Ornelas of San Antonio; two sisters, Savanna Kendrick of Riverbank and Melisa Kendrick of Bullhead City, Ariz.; and grandparents, Woodrow Kendrick and Janet Kendrick, both of Franklin, N.C.
