A Celebration of Life was held Sunday at the Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs in Modesto for Sabina Josephine Siciliani Fink, 71. She died April 16, 2010.
A funeral mass was held Monday at St. Joseph's Church.
Born Oct. 28, 1938 in Modesto, Sabrina was raised in Hughson and graduated from Hughson High School. She also graduated from Modesto Junior College and Sacramento State University. Sabina started her teaching career in 1960 with Modesto City Schools, and retired from Beard Elementary School in 2002. Mrs. Fink was a member of the California Teachers Association, Modesto Teachers Association, Modesto Emblem Club, Delta Kappa Gamma, TOPS, Caulda Pomodorao Red Hat Club, St Joseph's Catholic Church and St. Joseph's Seniors Club.
She leaves behind her husband, Wayne Fink; two daughters, Julie White of San Ramon and Susan Skotzke of Santa Cruz; her brother, Frank Siciliani of Visalia; and grandchildren Lisette White, Helena White, Ava White, Diana Skotzke and David Skotzke.
