Services were held Tuesday at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Ceres for Tarcisiu "Terry" Axiak, 83, of Ceres. He died Jan. 30, 2008.
A graveside service at Ceres Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Ceres Chapel of Franklin & Downs.
Born on Oct 4, 1924 in Zebbug, Gozo, Malta to Joseph and Carmena Axiak, Mr. Axiak was a long time Ceres resident. Terry was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to tend to his vegetable garden.
He leaves behind his wife of 59 years, Nicolina Axiak of Ceres; his children, Frances, Emilia, Albert and Elvira; his brother, Anthony in Malta; and his grandchildren, Lisa, Anthony, and Elizabeth, and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Victoria, Elisabeth, and Mia.
