Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Franklin & Downs Colonial Chapel for Vivian Marie Lantz Doshier, 91, of Ceres. She died at her home on April 18, 2012 surrounded by her family.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Burwood Cemetery, 28320 E. River Rd., Escalon followed by a reception.

Born August 9, 1920 in Council Bluff, Iowa, Vivian called Ceres home for the past two years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Modesto. She enjoyed playing cards and gambling. In her younger years she enjoyed swimming.

She leaves behind her children, Alberta Doshier of Modesto, James Doshier of Modesto, Wanda Doshier Medlock of Barstow, Darrell Doshier of Ceres, Ladonna Doshier of Modesto and Daniel Doshier of Ceres; five sisters; three brothers; and 21 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Bud Doshier and sons Lloyd Doshier, Buddie Doshier, Donald Doshier and Vernon Doshier.
