The Ceres recreational swim club staged its first home meet of the 2014 MVSL season last month.

Ceres prevailed, 9471/2-7931/2, on May 31 at Ceres High School.

"I was a little surprised," Ceres head coach Tracy Bull said. "To be honest, I thought we'd lose. We won because of our dominance in the relays and freestyles."
