Ceres High’s varsity boys and girls swim teams put their perfect records on the line while competing against Los Banos last week.

The Bulldogs challenged the host Tigers.

Los Banos prevailed, winning both Western Athletic Conference duals.

Ceres High’s girls squad suffered a 102-83 loss and dropped to 3-1 in the WAC standings.

Julia Pata placed first in the 200 free and 100 free to lead the Bulldogs.

Ciana Sather placed second in the 100 fly and 100 back.

Annie Connors placed second in the 50 free.

Kiera Brownlee placed second in the 200 IM and third in the 100 breast.

Lindsey Reedy placed third in the 500 free and fourth in the 50 free.

Kassandra Armas placed fourth in the 200 free and 100 fly.

Jullissa Arreola placed fourth in the 100 free and fifth in the 100 back.

Savannah Zielke placed fourth in the 200 IM and fifth in the 100 fly.

Taleyna Sengsoury placed fifth in the 50 free and 100 breast.

Abigail Bernal placed fifth in the 200 IM.

Paige Connolly placed fifth in the 500 free.

Bianca Perez placed fifth in the 100 free.

Jade Dominguez placed fifth in the 200 free and sixth in the 100 back.

Ceres High’s boys squad lost 198-157 to Patterson.

Caleb Bishop placed first in the 100 back and second in the 200 IM to lead the Bulldogs (3-1).

Tristan Freitas-Scott placed first in the 50 free and second in the 100 fly.

Bobby Baranski placed second in the 100 free and third in the 50 free.

Conner Mills placed first in the 500 free and third in the 200 IM.

Elliott Lewis placed third in the 100 breast and fourth in the 200 IM.

Michael Barnes placed third in the 100 back and fifth in the 100 free.

Jacob Sather placed fourth in the 200 free and sixth in the 100 free.

Logan Kier placed fifth in the 100 fly and 100 breast.

Baranski, Freitas-Scott, Kier and Bishop, Ceres High’s first-place 200-free relay team, qualified for the Sac-Joaquin Section Championships.

Ceres High will travel to Merced today to face first-place El Capitan.
