Brenton White, 23, of Ceres, was arrested Thursday after he allegedly stole a mountain bike from a victim in Whitmore Park.

Sgt. Keith Griebel went to the park at 10:50 a.m. and made contact with the victim who said his Huffy mountain bike was taken by a man known to live in the area of Sam's Market with the first name of Brent. The owner gave a description of the white and blue bike. White was found riding the bike a short time later and found in possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. He was arrested and charged with theft and possession of a controlled substance.
