Police are awaiting results of an autopsy and toxicology report to determine the cause of death of a missing Scotts Valley man whose body was found in the parking lot of St. Jude's Catholic Church at 3824 Mitchell Road early Saturday morning.

At 12:44 a.m. the discovery was reported to Ceres police. The body was inside of a black Chevy Tahoe SUV which was parked in the parking lot.

Detectives considered the death suspicious but the detective sergeant did not consider it to be the result of foul play, said Ceres Police spokesman Sgt. Jose Berber.
