Ceres woman arrested for DUI for four kids in the car

A 28-year-old Ceres woman was jailed after police pulled her over for erratic driving and learned that she was intoxicated with four children in her vehicle.

The arrest came at 11:06 p.m. on Sunday after Officer Adam Hall followed a Ford SUV driven by Maria Delrocio Arriagaponce, 28, of Ceres, and noticed it nearly hit a curb driven and made other traffic law violations. Officer Hall pulled over the driver in area of Palm Avenue and Pyramid Drive. 

Arriagaponce appeared to be intoxicated and a breath test revealed she was twice the legal limit.

Arriagaponce had four children in her vehicle all under the age of 10. She was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of DUI, child endangerment, and driving with a suspended license for DUI.
