After Ceres Police Sgt. Jose Berber saw a black Dodge Challenger weaving and nearly strike the curb several times early Sunday, he made a traffic stop and arrested its Keyes driver.

Sgt. Berber was patrolling at 2:38 a.m. in the 2800 block of Mitchell Road when he pulled over Mauricio Sotelosanchez, 21, of Keyes. The driver appeared to be intoxicated and agreed to a breath test which revealed he had almost four times the legal amount of alcohol within his bloodstream.

Sotelosanchez was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center on charges of DUI.
