The Microtel Inn & Suites, 1760 Herndon, was the scene of an arrest of a man found with drugs early Tuesday morning, March 22.

At 4:22 a.m. Ceres Police officer Eric Gallegos was sent to the motel parking lot for a suspicious man sitting in a vehicle. He found Craig Montalvo, 53, of Ceres, in a car and searched him. The officer found a small bag of methamphetamine and arrested Montalvo for possession of a controlled substance.
