The rider of a motorcycle which had expired registration tags went to jail after he was stopped and the officer learned he had misdemeanor and felony bench warrants.

At 11:39 p.m. on Saturday Officer Adam Hall was northbound on Bystrum Road when he noticed a Harley Davidson motorcycle in front of him with expired tags last updated in 2011. Officer Hall conducted a traffic stop to investigate and learned of the warrants for the arrest of Carl Kalteich, 52, who also did not have a driver’s license.

Kalteich was arrested and his motorcycle towed due to expired registration and not having a license. Kalteich was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
