A Sunday evening stop on a motorist for a traffic violation ended with an officer finding drugs in the car and arresting the driver.

At 11 p.m. Officer Eric Gallegos stopped the car in the 1500 block of Nadine Avenue and learned that driver Norvelle Logan, 41, of Modesto, was on probation. Logan's vehicle was searched and behind the driver's seat was a baggie of suspected cocaine/methamphetamine mix. A meth pipe was also located in the vehicle.

Logan was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and probation violation.
