This woman is sought for questioning regarding possible identity theft and fraudulent prescriptions. Police are hoping the public can identify her and report her to Detective Venn at 538-5616.

Ceres Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a woman wanted for questioning regarding identity theft and numerous fraudulent prescriptions that occurred between February and May.

The suspect appears to be a 5-foot-4 to 5-foot-7, 150 pound Hispanic female adult with brown hair who was pregnant at the time of some of the incidents. Police say she usually had a young boy with her when dropping off and picking up the prescriptions. In the most recent surveillance photos, it appeared that she had given birth (possibly in April or May), as she also had an infant with her.

If anyone recognizes the woman in the photo, they are asked to contact Detective Darren Venn at 538-5616 or by emailing him at darren.venn@ci.ceres.ca.us. Tips may also be anonymously reported to the Stanislaus Area Crime Stoppers at 1 (866) 60-CRIME or by texting tips to "274637" with TIP704 in the wording.
