Police separately snag two men wanted for warrants

Two men were arrested by Ceres officers on Friday for felony warrants.

At 12:16 a.m., Officer Kevin Sakasegawa was on patrol in the area of Mitchell and Fowler roads in an active search for Keith Alicea, 35, who had an outstanding felony warrant for his arrest. Officer Sakasegawa knew Alicea frequented this area and spotted him and made an arrest. Keith was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.

A 41-year-old man was arrested Friday evening for a felony warrant.

Officer Gloria Blakeslee was patrolling the area around Walmart at 7:50 p.m. and recalled that earlier in her shift she read that Pisith Rorn, 41, was wanted on a felony warrant and knew Pisith frequented the area. She located him across the street at La Perla Tapatia, arrested him and booked him into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
