A 36-year-old San Jose man was arrested Wednesday morning, June 22 after he appeared to be staggering down the sidewalk in the area of Larch Avenue and Industrial Way.

At 11:38 a.m., Officer Samuel Becerra spotted Antonio Talavera who appeared to be under the influence. Talavera, who had an outstanding arrest warrant, was searched and suspected methamphetamine was found in his belongings. He was arrested for the warrant, possession of an illegal substance for sales, and for a violation of probation. He was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
