A stolen gray-colored Saturn Vue was recovered early Thursday, Oct. 31 with the Turlock man possessing it going to jail.

Ceres Police Officer Jon Blount was on patrol at 1:07 a.m. and noticed the Saturn parked in the McDonald’s parking lot on Hatch Road with numerous blankets covering the windows. Officer Blount ran the license plate number and discovered the vehicle had been stolen in Modesto. Blount and other officers called over the loudspeaker for occupants of the car to get it. Morris Pitti, 39, of Turlock, exited the car and was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and grand theft auto.
