Wanted Ceres man booked on felony warrant

Jose Raya was arrested on a felony arrest warrant.

Warrants landed a 38-year-old Ceres man in jail Wednesday evening, Aug. 18.

At 5:50 p.m., Officer Eric Souza was patrolling the 2800 block of Dale Avenue when he spotted Jose Raya. Officer Souza was familiar with Raya from speaking with him on prior occasions and knew he had outstanding felony warrants for his arrest. Officer Souza arrested and booked Raya for his warrants.
